We’re so confident in our elevators that we offer an industry-leading 5-year warranty on our S-Series and E-Series Elevators, and a 3-year warranty on the A-Series.

For S and E-Series Elevators, we take the reassurance and convenience even further, by eliminating the need for servicing for the first five years. You’ll avoid the hassle of maintenance, saving money year-on-year. This is ideal in body corporate environments as it avoids unnecessary body corporate fee increases.

 

WHY WE CAN AFFORD TO BE SO CONFIDENT

Powerglide’s proprietary hydraulic drive system is direct acting, which means the force of the hydraulic cylinder acts directly on the lift car.

Other hydraulic lift systems on the market use the force of the hydraulic cylinder to drive chains or ropes, which, in turn, pull the lift car. These ropes or chains require regular maintenance - an oily, messy process that is mandatory under the NZ Building Code.

By eliminating the need for ropes or chains, the Powerglide system significantly reduces the servicing requirements of your elevator. It’s a cleaner, simpler, altogether more elegant solution, with considerably less that can go wrong.

We also use industrial components of the highest quality, designed to withstand wear and tear well in excess of the average home use.

 Including the lift in the build was uncomplicated from an engineering and construction perspective. It’s a simple product compared to models with big motors and cables etc which made it easier to work with.

Our phone-support team are available if you have any questions, and all servicing and maintenance is carried out by our experienced in-house team. With over 85% of our componentry sourced locally, there are no delays in sourcing replacement parts should the unexpected happen.


REMOTE MONITORING

Powerglide’s remote lift monitoring facility provides full lift system access to Powerglide’s technical team offsite. This means we are able to control, monitor, solve and potentially repair or upgrade your system, from our Tauranga factory. If the alarm button is pressed, Powerglide automatically receives an alert message. We respond by logging into the lift, viewing its status, and taking control of it to facilitate the passenger’s safe exit.
